Okay, taking the advice of my Pikathug, I have put this page up as an announcement and information sight all rolled into one. This is going to be an attempt to be the site that answers all questions about my re-dedication ritual.

What: Mylia's Rededication
When: July 8th (This Saturday)
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Sligo Creek Park (map at bottom of page)

When originally discussing the event with Stormsong and others, it seemed like a great idea to make it kind of a dress-up occassion.  We were thinking of having everyone either dress up gothic, in Renaissance gear or in something else of not the typical daily wear variety.  This does not mean you have to rent a ballgown or come up with priest's robes or anything like that.
 
 
 
 

Please, as per the usual deal when it comes to rituals and circles, bring something.  We are not sure how long the ceremony will last, but probably no longer than an hour, or hour and a half.  It very much depends on how long it takes everyone to get there and get started.  Keep in mind that this will be being held outside.  Candles are acceptable, blowtorches are not.  (Sorry guys.)

The theme for the ceremony is Ancient Egyptian in nature, just to let you know.

Also, I got driving directions from MapQuest.  However, they are from a starting point of HiveMind (AKA, the residence of Talen, Iridan, 2B, Mika, Bola, etc.) because I didn't know what other points of reference to use.  Besides, I figured most of us knew the location of the house so it was an easy enough thought process from the percocet mind of the Mylia:
 
 

                    1:  Start out going North on LAURISTON PL towards ANDERSON DR
                            by turning  left.

                     2:  Turn RIGHT onto ANDERSON DR.

                     3:  Turn LEFT onto GALLOWS RD.

                     4:  Take the US-50 EAST/I-495 ramp.

                     5:  Merge onto ARLINGTON BLVD.

                     6:   Take the I-495/CAPITAL BELTWAY ramp towards ROCKVILLE.

                     7:  Merge onto CAPITAL BELTWAY.

                     8:  Take the MD-97 NORTH/GEORGIA AVE exit, exit number 31A,
                            towards WHEATON.

                     9:   Merge onto GEORGIA AVE.

                     10:   Turn RIGHT onto FOREST GLEN RD.

                     11:   Turn RIGHT onto SLIGO CREEK PKWY.
 
 

Something else that we had thought of doing was having everyone meet at the Safeway in Four Corners and then go to the site from there.  Let me know what you think.
